Notre Dame Athletics Holds Hockey Rapid Fire Promotion

On January 20, 2012, Notre Dame Athletics celebrated the grand opening of their new hockey arena (Compton Family Ice Arena) by holding a “Whiteout Celebration!” During the game, fans received not only received white t-shirts and pom-poms to help celebrate the opening of the new on-campus, two-rink ice facility, five lucky fans got the chance to shoot for a vehicle valued at $50K.

During the game, five fans were randomly drawn via registration forms for a chance to participate in a Hockey Rapid Fire contest. While each fan received a prize filled “goodie bag” in one bag there was a “lucky puck”, which determined who would get to shoot for the new car.
