Auto Dealer Runs Winning Championship Game Giveaway

Grand Junction, Colo. — Congratulations to Johnathan Oakley who won $10,000 on Super Sunday, thanks to an auto dealer promotion from Modern Classic Motors, and paid for by Odds On Promotions. Oakley won the giant prize after the Denver Broncos won this year’s Super Bowl.

Late last summer, before the start of the NFL season, Modern Classic Motors contacted Odds On to set up a season-long football promotion with a goal of giving back to the community, raising awareness and driving traffic.

The premise was simple: if the Denver Broncos won the Super Bowl, a lucky registered contestant would win $10,000, paid for by Odds On.

To get a chance to win, all someone needed to do was visit Modern Classic Motors, complete a registration form during the NFL season, and start rooting for Denver to win the championship game.

On February 6, the day before the big game, Modern Classic Motors selected a lucky winner, whose name was announced after Denver won. Turns out Oakley was the big winner who received an equally big check – all just for stopping by the dealership and filling out a registration form. And just check out the great PR the dealership received just a few days prior to the big game.

One More Miracle: Man Wins Dodge at Outreach Event

Chickamauga, Ga. – Larry Griffith of Rock Spring won a 2014 Dodge Ram truck at the Oakwood Baptist Church’s Northwest Georgia Sportsman’s Expo, courtesy of Jenkins Chrysler Jeep Dodge, and paid for by Odds On Promotions.

Griffith won the new truck, which was the grand prize fundraising raffle, after he selected a Money Bag which contained the lucky prize-winning envelope.

Billed as “A day full of wild game, wild life, music, and a life changing message,” the NWGA Sportsman’s Expo also featured a wild game dinner, a gun raffle, hunting supplies, a car and motorcycle show, music and activities for children.

According to Scott McSpadden, Director of Men’s Ministry with Oakwood Baptist Church, the Expo, which is a key outreach activity run by the church’s Woods and Waters Ministry, drew approximately 800 attendees, while the raffle raised $500 will be used to supplement future outreach projects.

“It was really big day – and we were hoping for one more miracle. Having a big winner like that was exciting. It ended everything with a big boom.”

Anniversary Promotion Idea: Pawn Shop Runs $50K Dice Roll Promotion

While unfortunately, the fan who was selected didn’t score the vehicle, they still had an absolute blast — as did all of the other fans!
