I’m back with another baseball promotion idea that a Minor League Baseball team insured in the Midwest – and it also happens to be an “nth” fan promotion, just like the prior baseball promotion idea story that I shared earlier!
Here’s how the promotion worked: On the specified promotion date, fans were eligible to sign up and be chosen to participate in the promotion at the baseball game through the 4th inning. The ten millionth fan through the turnstyle became the lucky contestant in Odds On’s “Ten Runs and Win the Game” promotion! If the baseball team scored exactly ten (10) runs and ended up winning the game, the lucky fan would have been awarded $10,000… compliments of Odds On Promotions!
While unfortunately, there was no grand prize winner, the MiLB team played it smart and didn’t dare leave the lucky 10,000,000th fan empty-handed: they were awarded with a team prize pack, valued at $1,500, which consisted of tickets, various team-branded memorabilia and more!
I love “nth” fan promotions – they’re a great way to increase game day attendence and excitement among fans. Especially when the promotion doesn’t consist of a skills-based contest — the fans merely walk through the turnstyle, the “nth” fan is chosen to be the contestant and sit back and watch the game, in hopes of a certain prize play occurring!
That’s not to say that we don’t offer various baseball promotion ideas which consist of prize plays, however — check out a list of the baseball promotion ideas on our website and then give Odds On Promotions a call today at 888-827-2249 for a free, no-obligation quote… or if you have a unique promotion idea of your own!
